Piano Is Fun Review

Product Report

This program was authored by a musician/software developer in an effort to help his eight year old nephew learn to read music and play the piano. The end result was a colorful, fun computer software that teaches young and old alike how to read music and find those notes on the piano.

Feedback And Overview Sampling:

Actual Customer Feedback:

“I use this course to teach my in home students. Not only do the kids learn to read music quickly, but they are entertained with the game-like software. I recommend it to anybody wanting to learn.”

- Piano Teacher

“Big kudos goes out to Anthony for developing this fun software. We are a musical family and it was important to me that all of my kids love playing music as much as I do. I taught them all to read music with this software.”

- Proud Parent and Product User

“I confess that I am not a youngster, but this software program is what I used myself to learn the basics when I undertook my quest of playing the keyboard. If I can learn this stuff anybody can!”

- Program User

Overview:

The program introduces the notes gradually and teaches both the note names and where to find the notes on the piano keyboard. It also explains the difference between the treble and bass clef notes. The software is bright, colorful and animated. This program makes learning to read music fun and therefore keeps kids interested.

Summary:

This is more of a course on learning to read music than it is a piano lesson course. With that being said, it is a good course to study prior to actually starting lessons for a musical instrument (particularly piano).

The format of the course is geared towards kids with it’s colorful interface, but adults liked learning from it as well. All reports agreed that this is a high quality product and it came in at 4 out of 5 stars.

Time after time, I have come across pianists who cannot read music well and rely on memorization to save them. Do you admire pianists who can just pick up any piece of sheet music and play without stumbling?
